VC 클러치는 토크바로 전달됩니다. 느슨한 작동 튜브는 림과 두 개의 측면 플레이트로 구성된 하우징 내에 포함되어 있으며 교체 가능합니다. 측면 플레이트에 의해 제 위치에 고정된 토크 바는 마찰 슈의 지지판에 있는 구멍을 통과합니다. 작동 튜브에 압력을 가하면 마찰 슈가 원통형 드럼 주위에 맞물리게 됩니다. 백킹 플레이트의 토크 바 구멍에 있는 판 스프링은 작동 튜브 압력이 해제될 때 마찰 슈를 수축시킵니다.
